As there are a number of different brands of garage door openers on the market, in this article, we’re only going to talk about how to reprogram the most popular ones: Chamberlain, LiftMaster and Craftsman. We will also limit ourselves to door openers that have been manufactured since 1993. Since that time, garage door openers have been equipped with “rotating code” technology, which means that the code between the remote and the receiver changes each time you use it.
